I'm not really one to post about such things- but I have got to let this out...
Dredlocks NEVER look sexy, clean, or attractive. No matter how big your AI budget is each week. 
Not to mention the horrible faces he makes when he sings.
And the way he doesn't open his mouth, doesn't that pretty much constitute SINGING?
I don't vote for him. This guy has gotta GO HOME! (sorry Tami)
Even this dog is cuter than Jason. Probably sings better too.

I don't know if we can be friends anymore.
But we can (be friends). I totally agree. I can't stand his hair! Or his awkward /goofy faces! I ended up listening to him with my eyes closed tonight...It was better!
And yes, you can be adopted into the clan for a small registration fee!
wow, don't hold back! I don't know if he doesn't open his mouth or he just sings out of the side of it. Kent and I think Mary Jane is a good friend of his!
I liked his song last week, "Over the Rainbow" but I wouldn't mind seeing him leave next. These pictures are hilarious Nan! Thanks for sharing your opinion!
I won't hold back either. His rendition of "Over the Rainbow" was excruciating. It was boring and he breezed through it like he was in a hurry to get to the bathroom. He is way too "Dude, where's my car?" to be a star.
I kind of liked him at the beginning of the season, but as the weeks have gone by I like him less and less. Maybe it's because all of the other contestants keep getting better and better? I like the type of music that he tries to sing, but his personality is really annoying. I think if he would stop being so goofy and act a little more composed he would come off a lot better.
um, who is the guy above the dog? i don't watch ai so please tell me he's not one of the contestants. he reminds me of the alien in the movie "predator"
You could have written the words for me! I totally agree. I can't stand his nappy hair. Yes, he has pretty eyes, but that's about all I like on him. I can't stand how he sings out of the corner of his mouth, and his funky squinting thing he does while singing makes me think of Popeye. He could go home and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
I am still losing sleep over Michael Johns going home though ;(

I love his voice, and am pretty confident that he would make the kind of album that I would enjoy.

I cannot even join in on this one. I have not watched AI yet this season because of Biggest Loser. Next week I will start though. I cannot stand this guys hair. Yuck!
Well, I can say I agree with you more now than a few weeks ago, at least about the fact that he's not as good now as he was back then. I still like the dreads (on him) and I still like his laid back personality and I still like his voice and usually his song choice. (Except for last night's) But he does sing out of the corner of his mouth and he does make the goofiest facial expressions when he sings. He's just lost that "it" factor for me. He won't last much longer.

All I think about every time he sings is what kind of filthy funk he has in his gnarly hair. Seriously, he has got to go!
Wow! Glad I got rid of my dreads before I met you Nancie. I might have made you a little queasy. Those are some freaky pictures. Jason is one of those that you like him or you don't I think. But I am going to stay neutral, because 2 of my dear friends love him to pieces. I mean serious love here. The world stops when he sings type love. So, I will say he is not my choice and call it good.
Ok Nancy, I've got to get in on this one because we all (my girls and I)think he is dreamy. Literally, dreamy. Kenley came down for breakfast this morning and told me for the last two night she has had dreams with Jason in them. Ok, this is a little disturbing, but I love him. I don't think he's going to win, but he's my favorite. The fact that he is so relaxed is a big plus for me, Brooke(who I love) and David A. always look as though they about to hyperventilate. That's what makes for a good competition though, differing opinions.
Amen to Nan! The singing out of the corner of his mouth, the dirty dreads and those tight pants. sick! Does he even prepare for his performances each week. It seems like he just gets up there and sings a song he doesn't really even know or like and then can't wait to get off the stage. Adios Jason
