My baby is 8

Holy Cow, I'm getting old.
My firstborn is 8 today. He is such a good boy, and I'm so proud of the kiddo he is becoming. Just a few pictures to help me remember what a good baby he was too. Cam is athletic, has the body of a wiry gymnast and was named after Camden Yards (baseball park in Baltimore). He loves the outdoors, he knows just about every species of bird and loves to shoot his BB gun he got for Christmas. He is very kind and makes friends easily. He is my red-haired boy and looks exactly like my cousin Kyle. Cam will be baptized in Hermiston on Feb 19th at 11am. Mitch and I are super proud of him and are thankful he chose to be in our family. We love you Cam.

I hate:

Judge shows on TV.

In Spokane area Judge Judy is on at 4pm, that's when I'm in the mood for Ellen. I've missed watching her dance (its like a train wreck, I can't look away!)

Girls Night Out

When I went home for Christmas vacation, the girls planned Natalie and I our birthday dinner. We ate at 9 Degrees, a new (Delish) burger joint. It was sooo good and we had a blast. This is our birthday tee-shirt that is passed around each time one of us celebrates another year. Natalie's turn. I'm so thankful for great friends who take time to spend with me, and are so thoughtful!
(enjoy those pictures, Nat)

I'm not a writer- those of you who read this blog know that. Last year was a challenge to say the least, and I didn't really sit down and set some goals, however I did learn some valuable lessons. So for this January I'm writing some lists, resoulutions, and goals. I'm going to document my progress (in my journal) and try to grow spiritually, as a mother, friend, servant of the gospel, and wife. I hope at the end of this year I will feel more like I accomplished some things, while treading water and staying afloat. Maybe if I write it down I'll feel more accountable.
