I found this at a small yard sale for 4 bucks. We put a new coat of paint and set it up. Perfect little desk for Cams room. (He wanted to paint stripes on it-vetoed that.) Now off to find a chair.

Love it! Every kid neeeds a work space of their own. Even if it's just to make them feel important!
did you spray paint that?(with a can or did you use that sprayer thing you got?) that is a pretty smurfy blue. it almost looks like a car color. but no stripes huh, man you're rigid nancie! :)

You find the best things! That is such a neat little desk and I am sure it will be the perfect spot for your little man to color, draw, write, paste, tape, cut....etc...
YOu are a yard saleing genius. Mamie and I are having one this weekend at her house. I can't wait to get rich Rich RICH! Okay, or maybe just a little less poor. I love getting rid of stuff, so its good to make a few bucks while doing so!
I love the desk! What a great price too. Now you really must find the chair at a yard sale too because you can't have the chair costing significantly more than the desk!
I use to have the perfect chairs. Sold them and gave them away. Darn. Its really cute Nancie. I love it alot. The blue is something I wouldn't have thought of. So its fun to see.
OK, so if you ever see another one of those snatch it up for me and I'll pay you back. Those old desks are so great in so many ways. Good find!!!
I wish I had the patience for yard sales, but alas, they drive me crazy. The ones I go to never seem to have anything worth spending a few bucks on. But you, YOU, find the greatest things!
If you haven't found a chair for Camden's desk, I have one you should come look at. Amy and I bought 3 chairs from Goodwill for 5 bucks a piece, they look exactly like little kids chairs that would go with a little school desk like that. If you are interested, let me know and you can come look at them. If you see what you like, you are welcome to one for the bargain price of $5!
